Our main focal point is to protect and promote the general health of workers; the whole purpose of an occupational health service is to professionally accommodate the requirements of the organisation it is assisting and the staff employed by that company.

We believe an occupational health service must provide a package which is appropriate to the needs of a company and, of course, beneficial in relation to cost. 

An efficiently managed wellbeing strategy is essential, we proactively work to reduce absence rather than just manage. 


How we actively reduce absence
  • Use absence referral triggers to promote return to work through early intervention.
  • Triaging cases and passing complex cases to our most experienced case manager.
  • Use case management to return employees to work.
  • Effective use of robust return to work plans.
  • Use a consistent approach based on clinical protocols.
  • Work in partnership with line Managers and HR.
  • Home visits where applicable to maintain case momentum and employee support
  • Implement case conferences for the more complex case and where trends are noted. Getting the key people around the table and  providing advice on individual cases on prognosis, likely length of absence, any reasonable adjustments, capability etc., discussing areas where agreement has not been reached.
